The\u00a02016 RX Season Finale at Croft never fails to entertain. its normally comprises of the final round of the MSA British Rallycross Chasmpionship<\/a> and on the Sunday the British Rallycross Grand Prix.<\/h2>\n

Believe me it never fails to entertain! There are nearly always championships to be decided, which makes the Saturday very intense and the Sunday pretty relaxed! As usual I’m not writing any kind of race report here instead here are a few of my favourites from\u00a0the British\u00a02016 RX Season Finale on the Saturday.<\/p>\n

It was Ollie O’Donovan who took the honours after a hard fought event<\/p><\/div>\n

Kevin Procter seemed to be in the wars most of the day<\/p><\/div>\n

I don’t often do the ‘motorsport landscape’ thing, probably because as a press snapper its outside my comfort zone I’ll leave that approach to the guys over at\u00a0McKlien<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as thats what they do well. But just to prove a point heres one of Liam Doran<\/a><\/strong> ripping it up on the loose section<\/p>\n

The crowd was in awe of Liam Doran and clearly glad to see him back behind a wheel and driving in the UK after being able to file a driving complaint<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n

So the rest of Saturday<\/p>\n

Ciruit racer Kirk Langley looked right at home in a RX150 <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
\"Larry <\/a>
Larry Sargent in an RX 150 and look im doing that Landscape thing again! <\/div> <\/div>
\"British <\/a>
British Rallycross legend Pat Doran proving he is still a force to be reckoned with <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
\"Supernational <\/a>
Supernational driver Stuart Cozens in his fire breathing Renault V6 <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
\"Used <\/a>
Used to think of Stu Emery as a friend until he tried to run me down! (Joking!) <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
\"Look <\/a>
Look out its Liam Doran <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>\n

Release the horses!<\/p><\/div>\n

So then onto the the Grand Prix. Normally my client duties are a bit more relaxed as its the last outing of the year and its a ‘one off’ event and because of that as usual its all out Rallycross!!<\/p>\n

Liam Doran’s \u00a0all out attack earned him the\u00a02016 Grand Prix win<\/p><\/div>\n

First thing to note about this years Grand Prix was that the weather was changeable<\/p>\n

Wet, very wet! and so, so bright!<\/p><\/div>\n

In fact so much rain and so much sunlight that rainbows were inevitable. I didn’t even realise that I had caught Gary Simpon with a rainbow seemingly coming out of his car until I came to edit the shot!<\/p>\n

Gary Simpson clearly has a pot of gold under the bonnet!<\/p><\/div>\n

Its been a pleasure to work with Dan Rooke this year <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
